Nepal’s Help Nepal Sports Club secured a thrilling 3-2 win over Kazakhstan’s Zhaik VC in the ongoing CAVA Champions League in the Maldives.

With this victory, Help Nepal ended Zhaik VC’s unbeaten run of three matches.

The match took place at the Social Center in Malé and was highly competitive. Help Nepal made a strong start by winning the first set 25-22. However, Zhaik came back strongly, winning the next two sets 25-18 and 25-23.

Help Nepal then leveled the game by comfortably taking the fourth set 25-18. In the deciding fifth set, Help Nepal held their nerve and won 15-11.

This was Help Nepal’s third win in the tournament. With 3 wins and 1 loss from 4 matches, they now have 8 points and are in a strong position to reach the final. Despite their first loss, Zhaik VC remains at the top of the table with 10 points from 4 matches.

Help Nepal will play their final group match on Tuesday against Sri Lankan club Ports Authority.
