Shark Tank India’s Aman Gupta Coming to Nepal for Shark Tank Nepal Promotion

Aman Gupta, co-founder of BoAt and a popular shark from Shark Tank India, is visiting Nepal to promote the upcoming business reality show Shark Tank Nepal. The show is set to premiere on Himalaya TV from Ashar 18 (July 2).

Gupta will arrive in Kathmandu on Tuesday and attend the grand premiere event of Shark Tank Nepal in the afternoon as the chief guest. The event will also include an interactive session where Gupta will share his experiences as a shark and engage with the Nepali sharks, according to Himalaya TV’s Executive Director Shyam Kandel.

Some selected Nepali entrepreneurs will also get the chance to meet and talk with Aman Gupta during the event.

Shark Tank Nepal, the Nepali version of the globally popular business reality show aired in over 56 countries, will broadcast every Wednesday and Thursday at 9 PM on Himalaya TV.

The show is produced and aired by Himalaya Television. The first season will feature five Nepali business leaders as sharks:

• Hemraj Dhakal, Co-founder of IME Group
• Cabinet Shrestha, Managing Director of Agni Group
• Saurabh Jyoti, Chairman of Jyoti Group
• Ritu Singh Vaidya, Managing Director of Vaidya Organisation
• Anand Bagaria, Managing Director of Nimbus

Out of over 1,500 applicants, 110 startups have been selected through a two-phase screening process to pitch their business ideas in front of the sharks in the first season.
