Pickup van accident in Sindhuli kills one, injures driver
A pickup van accident happened on Friday morning at Sheetalpati, Sindhuli’s Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-6, on the BP Highway. One person died and the driver was seriously injured.
The van, with number plate Ba Pra 01-024 Cha 9913, was coming from Kathmandu to Sindhuli Madi when it fell about 500 meters off the road.
The police said Dharma Raj Regmi from Manahari Rural Municipality-4 in Makwanpur died in the accident. The driver, Niraj Regmi, who is the brother of the deceased, was seriously injured and taken to Dhulikhel Hospital after first aid.
Sindhuli police chief SP Lal Dhwaj Subedi said the accident is under investigation.
