Nepal is all set to take on the Netherlands today in the final match of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 series in Scotland. The game kicks off at 3:45 PM Nepali time in Dundee.
Earlier in the series, Nepal grabbed a solid win against the Dutch in their first encounter. Out of three matches so far, Nepal defeated Scotland once but missed out on a historic win last Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Netherlands are still hunting for their first win in this series. They’ve faced defeats in both of their matches — one against Nepal and the other against Scotland.
This isn’t the first clash between Nepal and the Netherlands in this League 2 cycle. Back in February last year, the two teams met in a series in Kirtipur — Nepal won one and lost one.
Stats show it’s neck-and-neck: In six total ODIs between the two sides, Nepal has won 3, and the Netherlands has taken 3.
In the League 2 points table, the Netherlands currently sit in 2nd place with 26 points from 22 games, while Nepal stands 7th with 10 points from 15 games.
Stay tuned — big game ahead.
